Seattle Municipal Court has been on a heritage case management system for 30+ years with limited financial controls. This posed a financial compliance risk and hindered the court’s ability to undergo agile business transformation.  

• Provide financial and process rationalization on current system to be GAAP compliant and set plan forward on data conversion. 

• Collect and design future state financial data exchanges and payments experience on modern security protocol.

Humbition led the PMO for this engagement by designing a transparent roadmap, project schedule and resource modeling. The team included a seasoned Forensic Accountant to help resolve trust account delta investigations and implement process improvements to prevent control gaps in the future.

In addition, we provided process recommendations for Daily Balancing, Bank Reconciliation, Collections and Interest, Community Service and Time Pay, Opening Balances, Open Transactions and Closed Transactions.
