• Delivered SeaTac’s first accessible taxi pilot program with the goal of becoming the most accessible airport in the world. 

• Partnered with Local 117 in certifying top taxi drivers to serve and expand SeaTac’s accessible taxi program.

• Humbition to partner with the Port of Seattle and SeaTac Airport in designing a new pilot program to attract accessible taxi services to SeaTac. 

• Humbition and Port of Seattle to align with local union on promoting accessible services at SeaTac.  

approach

Humbition partnered with the Port of Seattle in designing the program. What was most critical was conducting a fair process in certifying the new taxi operators. The program was rolled out to eligible taxi operators to submit their pilot applications. We then conducted data validation to ensure the taxi operators were qualified based on their operating history and used a public-facing lottery format to finalize the taxi pilot program winners.
